AI coding has fundamentally changed how software gets built.
Cursor, for example, gives builders the power to generate features, refactor systems, and scaffold applications in minutes. The bottleneck is no longer writing code, it's reviewing whether that code is secure, reliable, and production-ready.
As teams adopt agentic coding workflows at scale, traditional security approaches are starting to break down. Reactive scans and manual reviews can't keep pace with the speed of AI-generated code. Security needs to operate at the same speed as generation itself.
Today, we're excited to announce the Corridor Cursor Plugin, now live on the Cursor Marketplace, layering frictionless, real-time security reviews directly into Cursor.
The goal is simple: developers should be able to stay in flow while Corridor continuously reviews generated code in the background.
If we're doing our job correctly, developers shouldn't have to think about security tooling at all.
Security That Doesn't Interrupt Flow
One of the biggest risks with developer security tooling is disruption.
Long-running scans, noisy alerts, and manual review loops create friction that slows teams down and pushes security later into the development lifecycle. That model already struggled in traditional development environments, and it completely breaks in agentic workflows where code is generated continuously.
The Corridor Cursor Plugin is designed around a different philosophy: security should be frictionless.
As Cursor plans its code, Corridor automatically reviews the plan and proactively provides the coding agent with guidance to prevent vulnerabilities before code is even written. Instead of waiting for a downstream CI scan or a human reviewer to catch problems later, issues can be surfaced in real time as development is underway.
This creates a tighter feedback loop between generation and remediation without forcing developers to leave their workflow.
The result is a development experience where teams can move quickly with AI coding agents while maintaining confidence in the security of generated code.
Built for Agentic Development
Agentic coding changes the role of security tooling.
Traditional scanners were designed for human-written code and relatively linear development cycles. AI agents operate differently: they generate large amounts of code rapidly, iterate continuously, and increasingly interact with external tools and MCP servers autonomously.
Security systems need to adapt to this new workflow.
The Corridor Cursor Plugin serves as a security layer for generated code within Cursor, enabling teams to embed security reviews directly into the AI coding loop.
Rather than adding additional workflow overhead, Corridor operates alongside the development process, helping security become a continuous property of code generation rather than a separate downstream phase.
Getting Started
Setting up the Corridor Cursor Plugin takes just a few minutes.
1. Install the Corridor Plugin in Cursor
Inside Cursor:
- Open the Agents tab
- Navigate to the Marketplace
- Click Get next to Corridor
2. Create a Local Agent
Click New Agent and make sure the agent is configured as Local.
Once configured, Corridor should automatically begin operating alongside your Cursor workflows.
3. Use the Corridor Skill
You can also start using the Corridor skill with /corridor to begin reviewing your code for vulnerabilities and enforce security best practices in your coding agent.
The Corridor skill is a subset of what is available with Corridor. To unlock the full set of features with Corridor, you should authenticate with the Corridor API with the following steps:
1. Create a Corridor API Key
Generate an API key here.
2. Add the API Key to Your Shell Profile
To enable Corridor account integration on your local computer, update your ~/.zshrc file:
export CORRIDOR_API_KEY=your_api_key_here
Then restart Cursor.

What's Next
The Corridor Cursor Plugin is an important step toward making agentic software development secure by default.
As coding agents become more capable, security systems need to become faster, more adaptive, and more integrated into the generation process itself. We believe the future of software development depends on security tooling that works continuously in the background without disrupting developer momentum.
This is only the beginning.
We're excited to continue building toward a future where secure software development feels as seamless as coding with AI itself. You can explore the plugin here.
